About Us

Hello and welcome, my name is Mikayla. It takes a great amount of strength and courage to reach out for help and support. We all have different experiences that shape the way we view our lives, others, and the world around us. My passion is to be with and work with people so that they may share their stories in a space that feels safe and supportive. It is my hope that together we can help navigate this life and that you feel empowered, encouraged, and motivated to make the changes you need to live a healthy and fulfilling life. Since no two people are the same I work from multiple modalities in a way that best fits your needs. , I enjoy working with adults, as well as military, veterans, and first responders experiencing life transition struggles, PTSD, and changes in identify. I have over 8 years of experience working for inpatient and community mental health settings, and private practice. , I believe in a Person-Centered approach that utilizes both Solution-Focused and Cognitive Behavioral techniques to set goals and work towards achieving them. I am also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to assist with anxiety, depression, and PTSD therapy. I am here to walk alongside you and empower you on this journey to healing
