About Us

Ever feel like you are not enough or that some days it is hard to get out of bed? Do you feel like life is overwhelming? Has a past trauma or loss kept you from living life fully? I believe that these thoughts, feelings, and emotions can play into depression, anxiety, PTS and other less helpful coping skills. Through growth and development you will experience a fuller life and feelings will start to be manageable and you can imagine going through life with a clear sense of self. As Carl Rogers said "The curious paradox is when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change". , In my approach to counseling, I combine practices of recognizing all parts of yourself with awareness. To help you, I model how to stay in the present moment while experiencing and expressing ranges of emotions. In time you will gain a new sense of self realizing that you matter. You will feel empowered to move through life with more acceptance. , I use many types of theories in my practice- Gestalt Therapy, Mindfulness, Body-Mind Psychotherapy, Person Centered Therapy, and I am also trained in EMDR. I recently received training through The Center for Grief and Life Transition. I use this training to empathize with those who feel that their grief is stuck and overwhelming.
