There are many theories, techniques, diagnoses, and labels out there. It is not my place to judge or label my clients. My clients are not numbers on a file, clients are people with the courage to seek out a professional to help them walk through their journeys. Each client is an individual with their own issues, needs, and wanting to be heard. It is often pain and/or despair that bring clients into counseling. I respect the courage it takes to be willing to change and overcome obstacles instead of being overcome by them. , I work with diverse issues from depression, anxiety, relationship and self-esteem issues. My specialty areas include PTSD and mild to moderate Traumatic Brain Injury interpersonal relationship skills. With my clients, we will work to explore or refine coping skills assisting in making desired life changes. , My desire is to offer quality counseling services at an affordable cost, which is why I take insurance and offer a generous sliding fee scale. I understand how difficult it can be to reach out for help and welcome the opportunity to walk along side with you in your counseling journey.
