About Us

Adolescence and early adulthood holds a special place in my heart, because it is such ripe ground for discovery, yet many young people get stuck along the journey. I have worked with young people for over 10 years, who have struggled with social-anxiety and shyness, addiction, anxiety and panic attacks, depression, grief and loss issues, trauma, school issues, and complex family issues. While all of these can be horrific for the individual and families involved, the underlying resiliency present in each of these young people and families is the foundation that we build from in the healing process. , In order to help clients become more comfortable and familiar with what is happening inside of them, I approach therapy with hope, deep listening, and humor. By teaching coping skills and self awareness through mindfulness and utilizing the unique wisdom of the client, I think the process of therapy can be a profoundly rewarding experience. , " Support for parents is offered to help navigate difficult terrain, including divorce, transition from middle school to high school, and transition from high school to college and adulthood. Parents ability to work through their own issues and patterns and to model healthy self-care is emphasized. "
