I love working with LBGTQ+ and TGNC communities. I understand the unique challenges we face living in a society that sends us mixed messages about who we can or should be. I have worked with clients to navigate coming out at school/work/home, begin hormone therapy, work with difficult family dynamics and come to accept who they truly are. I also understand the importance of intersectionality and cultural humility in our communities and the impact minority stress has. My work is grounded in attachment theory, mindfulness and transpersonal psychology. I prefer a holistic approach to a diagnostic one. , I view therapy as a collaborative process where my clients are the experts in themselves. My role is to provide a safe space and theoretical grounding for them to get to know themselves on the deepest level. I am oriented in social justice and advocate for my clients beyond our time in session together. I will be offering Ketamine assisted therapy soon! , I believe compassion is the cornerstone of the human experience.
