About Us

I want to help people who want to help themselves to have a more joyful and hopeful life. My focus is on your strengths, as I believe if we focus on our strengths, it is easier to overcome our challenges. As a counselor and a former school counselor and teacher, I have worked with adults, teens and children from all walks of life, including military and their families. I am empathetic and compassionate. My goal is that you gain more hope when working with me. I am grateful for every client I work with. In person therapy is offered to those who are vaccinated. , I am EMDR and EFT trained, and have helped many clients get past traumas from their past. I am a certified Heartmath (www.heartmath.org) practitioner, which is helpful for stress, anger, anxiety, depression and sleep management, and optimal performance in whatever you are doing. I encourage mindfulness techniques for better health in all areas. , My office (in person or Telehealth) is a no-judgement zone. If you just need a place to vent (with plenty of tissues!) or if you just want to move forward in a positive way, whatever path that takes, give me a call. My office is handicap accessible, easy to find, with plenty of parking available.
