I don’t yet know the details of your story, or the particularities of the burdens you carry. What I do know is that grief, harm, and loss were never meant to be carried alone, and that witnessing these stories in my clients is the honor of my life. Our sessions will be marked with laughter and tears, curiosity and exploration, and an intimacy that arises when the stories of our lives are allowed to come out of hiding and be truly seen. In the places you may have turned on yourself, I aim to hold a mirror up to your inherent goodness. , My approach is body-centered, and I believe that our bodies speak to our experiences. A somatic approach, letting the body light up our parts, will allow us to work together to honor your story. I believe that everyone’s story matters, and that my primary role is to provide a with-ness and a witness to your story. , I want to provide you with tools and resources, & a space to be safe and seen. I have studied significantly, and continue to study, how to provide my clients with trauma-informed care. While the reasons I have chosen this field are many, ultimately my own experience has made me a relentless and hope-filled believer in the magic, art, and science of therapy.
