What we think about them can be harmful or helpful in a situation. Being very present creates calm as we are in the situation as it happens rather than in the past or future thinking about what we did or will do. This practice strengthens relationships as well as offers personal insight and growth. My job as the therapist is to allow my clients a place to explore the space in their heads. I help clients accept and understand their emotions creating new behavior patterns. , I have a Master of Arts in Counseling and I have worked to become a Licensed Professional Counselor.
