About Us

" My name is Alice and I am a mother, daughter, granddaughter, friend, aunt, cousin, colleague, advocate & Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I am of both Black and Latino heritage and am proud of my roots. I was also born and raised in Denver, Colorado and grew up in West Denver. I earned a bachelors degree of Social Work from Metropolitan State University of Denver with an emphasis in Child Welfare and a Masters of Social Work from University of Denver with an emphasis of interpersonal trauma studies. I have a current private therapy practice located in Denver. I work with adults, adolescents & children(6+). This quote helped me understand that we all have the ability to overcome obstacles and adversity and to literally walk through the fire and come out with a “resilient mind."Depression, anxiety, grief, loss, and trauma are some of the , challenges that may leave you feeling overwhelmed and stuck.
