About Us

" My name is Teresa Robles and I am a bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I work with teens and adults and specialize in trauma-informed care. I will provide supportive listening, but the real change comes from the active work you do in and out of your therapy sessions. As a trauma-informed therapist my approach to therapy is often tailored to the clients needs being that the main goal is to provide a safe and supportive environment in which healing can be accomplished. I most frequently utilize CBT techniques, but I also find power in art and play therapy interventions as well as strength-based approaches. ", The majority of my work has been with individuals who have experienced negative consequences (anxiety, depression, difficulty sleeping, etc.) after exposure to dangerous/frightening experiences. I also work with individuals navigating various life stressors, transitions, and grief and loss. , The goal for a first session is to build a collaborative relationship, build trust, and obtain a better understating of the person and their reasons for seeking therapy. In order to do so, the majority of the time is spent asking questions and answering any questions that the client may have.
