I believe that therapy can be a safe space for healing and self-discovery. I feel very passionate about supporting people through this process and creating a therapeutic relationship where you can feel validated and supported. I practice with a trauma-informed lens and believe in the importance of nervous system regulation during sessions. Because of this, I often incorporate somatic interventions, as well as grounding exercises and resources. My approach is attachment and emotion-focused, anti-oppressive, and informed by feminist and queer theory. , I have experience working with various forms of trauma, anxiety, depression, OCD, grief, and relationship and family issues. I approach issues of sexuality with a sex-positive and non-pathologizing perspective. Furthermore, as an immigrant, I am aware of the challenges that can arise during difficult life transitions. , I intend to create a space of presence and safety in therapy. One of the great joys of this job is creating authentic and meaningful therapeutic relationships, in which we can work together to co-create sessions that work best for you.
