About Us

I work with couples, families, and individuals who find themselves challenged to sustain meaningful connections and nourishing relationships, including with their own deeper and truer selves. \n\nNone of us is an island. We all live in relationship with others — sometimes with intimate partners, or with co-workers, parents and friends, but always and at every moment with the many inner parts of ourselves, including those that have been hurt and cry out to be heard through the symptoms of anxiety, depression, and addictions, or that yearn for meaning, purpose, and the wholeness of personal authenticity. , I came to this work after my own journey through addiction, family trauma, and a first-generation immigrant experience, and I am guided primarily by family systems theory and an inner family systems approach. I see us as participants in a complex web of inner-and-outer relationships, formed in our childhoods and expressing themselves over time as adults. , I believe counselling can help us become more aware of the roles and patterns that keep recurring in our lives, and that we can begin to challenge the limiting and hurtful ones and build-up new and more life-affirming ones in their place. With caring support and non-judgement, we have the capacity to move towards positive change and a freer sense of self. \n
