I have extensive experience working with individuals (youth & adults), of all genders and sexual orientations who may be struggling with substance abuse, compulsive behavior, anxiety, depression and/or trauma. I also work with those who are trying to support them. I also work with those who want to improve their self-esteem and those who want to build their communication skills, which includes boundary setting and assertiveness. , My particular specialty is mental health and addictions. I expect that a majority of those who struggle with substance abuse or compulsive behavior are also trying to cope with mental illness which may include anxiety, depression, ADD/ADHD, trauma. , I work from a feminist, strengths-based approach which means we will look at what has worked for you in your life and find more ways to strengthen your coping skills. I use a variety of techniques that will allow you to reconnect to your wise self.
