About Us

Hi I’m Dani and I’m a Registered Clinical Counsellor and Clinical Director at Skylark Counselling! I have worked in the counselling field for over a decade and have had the pleasure of gaining hands-on experience across a wide range of topics, such as ADHD, substance use, relationships, eating disorders, anxiety/depression, and various traumas. My clients in the past have described me as an open, genuine counsellor who is honest and to-the-point. I like to approach challenges from a variety of different perspectives to work collaboratively with my clients towards solutions-focused goals. View 7 Photos, I’ve received my EMDR certificate, Critical Incident Stress Management certificate, and Childhood Sexual Abuse Certificate from the Justice Institute of BC, as well as completed DBT training, Sensory Motor classes, and others. I also teach Master’s classes and offer clinical supervision for other Registered Clinical Counsellors practicing in the field. , I know what it’s like to feel hopeless, confused, or stuck in a problem that is overwhelming.
