About Us

There are times when we just don’t feel like ourselves. For some of us, this means feeling overwhelmed by our thoughts and emotions, while for others the disconnect can come from feeling nothing at all. This internal “ickiness” can show up through our emotions, thoughts, or in our body, and is often a scary, confusing, and unsettling experience. This intuitive feeling is typically caused by misalignment; whether it’s having conflict within ourselves, feeling out of step with those close to us, or feeling out of place in the world around us. , As a counsellor, I bring gentleness, humour, evidence-based methods and a holistic therapeutic approach to develop a warm environment for you to share your story. Collaboratively, we can provide you with the tools and insight needed to bring you back into alignment; creating more room for understanding, healing, growth, and empowerment. , I believe the most important part of my role is to create an environment and relationship that is safe, and therefore, I work from an overarching anti-oppressive, trauma-informed and feminist lens.
