I am a Registered Social Worker and EMDR trained Therapist. My area of focus practice includes Trauma & Complex PTSD. Many people I’ve served, have lived experiences in the following: Childhood Abuse and Maltreatment, Intimate Partner Violence, Religious Trauma, Racialized Trauma, and/or Accidental Trauma. Whether you find yourself suffering from a single or complexity of adverse experiences, I am committed to supporting you along YOUR path in healing. I strive to make the individuals I support feel accepted and cared for, while we walk together. , My primary therapeutic modality includes the use of Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), which you can expect to be the foundation of our therapeutic work together. I hold both a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Social Work; Specializing in Clinical Therapeutic Practice. I am a Registered Social Worker with the BCCSW. , Through my firsthand experiences of being in the mountains, while on my own path of healing, I needed a mindset check. I was forced to dig DEEP in finding Self Compassion and Determination in seeking a Summit Within. To me, trauma-based counselling is mentally, much like a big hike.
