" I particularly enjoy working with individuals or couples who have experienced a shift in identity. This can happen for many reasons and circumstances including health concerns, relationship or professional transitions, financial stress, and grief and loss. I am ready to support the process of understanding, managing, and overcoming the emotional and psychological difficulties associated with these situations. The goal is often to redefine, then find confidence and satisfaction with ones new, and multidimensional identity. ", I combine humanistic psychology with cognitive-behavioural strategies. I believe it is incredibly important to understand oneself as a whole, but part of that process comes from concerted efforts to try something different in our thoughts and actions. This is how we learn. I also use trauma-informed, and gender and culturally inclusive approaches to therapy. , I consider myself a ‘Jane of all trades.’ I love exploring new interests and ideas, and this has, in part led me to counselling.
