In this journey of life, we experience all kinds of events both positive and negative. As humans, we are equipped with unique strengths and resources that shape our resiliency when it comes to healing, changing, growing, and adapting. We may experience problems because of a disruption (internal or external) to our daily functioning, which can impact how we feel, how we think, and/or how we behave. This can result to feeling a loss of control and autonomy over our lives. A central tenant to my approach in counselling is social justice which means supporting my clients to empower themselves: regaining power over their lives. View 6 Photos, I have experience working with post-injury, short-term and long-term disability, chronic pain, depression, anxiety, and trauma related to motor vehicle accidents. Counselling sessions can be provided via video, telephone, and in-person. Sessions can also be done in English, Urdu, Punjabi, and Hindi. , My goal is to create a non-judgmental and safe environment for my clients where they feel validated and understood, as well as the emphasis on the therapeutic working alliance.
