About Us

Shannan is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) who manages and treats patients across the lifespan for a wide range of mental health concerns including anxiety, depression, mood disorders, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorders, sleep/insomnia, substance misuse/abuse, problems related to psychosocial circumstances, interpersonal relationships, and stress management. Shannan uses a collaborative and comprehensive approach to care with pharmacological and nonpharmacological treatment options based on the individual needs of the client and best practices. , Shannan completed her Master of Science in Nursing at the University of St. Francis and has a particular interest in neuropsychopharmacology, neuroendocrinology, and research focused on the neurobiological basis for behavior and the interplay between genetic vulnerability and adverse life experiences. She seeks to understand symptoms and treat the illness. , " Shannan uses a non-judgmental approach to establish trust and understand the complexity of her clients.
