About Us

I am a board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner and I decided to become a nurse to have a positive impact on the lives of my clients. My favorite quote is “Your illness does not define you. Your strength and courage do.” – Unknown. I have experience working with patients struggling with bipolar disorder, depression, anxiety, schizoaffective disorder, gender dysphoria, panic attacks, ADHD (children and adults) and PANDAS. I enjoy working with all conditions. I also work with patients dealing with substance use disorders. , In addition to mental health medication management, I use several theoretical approaches to providing care such as behaviorism, biological, psychodynamic, cognitive, and humanistic. My most common theoretical approach is humanistic. I create a tone/environment of professionalism that allows my patients to feel comfortable sharing information with me. , To ensure we have a productive first visit, please be sure to fill out your intake form in advance! During our first visit, we will complete a full mental health assessment and evaluation. There will be lots of questions during this visit, especially regarding your medical and mental health history.
