About Us

I am a Board Certified Child, Adolescent and Adult Psychiatrist and Psychoanalyst. I know it can be difficult to find yourself struggling with your emotions which in turn create disharmony, inhibition or unhappiness. These difficulties can feel overwhelming and affect every aspect of life from relationships to your work and daily activities. Sometimes it is difficult to understand why we react the way we do and how to achieve a change in a deep and long lasting way. , My goal is to understand the process that has led to the current challenges in your life and then focus our treatment goals into helping you understand how these difficulties came about. This will pave the way towards the emotional freedom necessary to make substantive lasting changes. , The path to recovery and well-being is as unique as each individual and that is why we will come to a decision together as to which path might suit you best. I specialize in psychoanalysis, psychotherapy alone or in combination with medication. Medication may be an important part of the treatment, sometimes not enough and at times not needed at all.
