About Us

I have a particular focus on trauma-related symptoms, which can include PTSD, dissociation, depression, and anxiety. I do not believe that medications are a magic bullet, but for many they are an important part of the road back to health. I am open to hearing your viewpoint and beliefs about what will make you healthy, and if you feel you need something that I cannot provide I will try to help you find it. In addition to working with the emotional/psychiatric consequences of trauma, I have experience working with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, eating disorders, and with individuals with chronic medical illnesses. , I have been trained in psychodynamic therapy as well as sensorimotor psychotherapy. I believe in tailoring my psychotherapeutic approach to what makes sense for the patient, and what honors them as a unique individual. I work with people from the perspective of their natural strengths, as we together to try remove obstacles to their well-being. , I have been fortunate enough to have had the opportunity to work with some of my patients over many years, helping them to keep their mental health stable as they progress through the various life stages. It has been an incredible gift and I am grateful for their trust and confidence in me.
