I am a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over five years of experience in the mental health field. Initially from Long Island, NY, I obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology and Public Health, with a minor in Spanish from Stony Brook University. I returned to the University of Delaware to receive my Bachelor’s Degree in nursing. It has been working in both inpatient and outpatient dual-diagnosis psychiatry settings that I found my true passion, and pursued my MSN in psychiatry. , Becoming a Psychiatric NP has been one of my most fulfilling accomplishments. I am able to listen to your story with empathy and compassion, come up with a treatment plan that is mutually agreed upon, and prescribe medication if necessary. I love to teach my clients and help them to feel empowered about their mental health. , I work with clients of all ages, and can help with anxiety, depression, PTSD, addiction issues, mood disorders, trauma, ADHD, eating disorders, PMDD. My background in both critical care and mental health has allowed me to understand the complexities of the human body and how both mental and physical health are so deeply connected.
