I am a clinical social worker with over 30 years experience working with adolescents, adults and elderly clients. My approach is to use humor, validation, and compassion along with collaborative problem solving. I tend to pull from many different modalities such as psychodynamic therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectic behavioral therapy and mindfulness. I have a deep respect for the resiliency of people and help clients tap into their own strengths. , I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, substance abuse, grief and chronic illness. I have worked in a high school for 20 years with adolescents and have had private practice experience as well as experience working in a medical setting with the elderly.
